Cheddar Biscuits – Low Carb & Gluten Free

cheddar biscuitsLast month when my family and I got together for a Keto Easter Dinner I realized that we would need a keto biscuit or roll on the table to accompany the feast.  So this is what I made and I have resorted to calling them the low carb, gluten free version of Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits.

Cheddar Biscuits
Low Carb – Gluten Free

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup Almond Flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup shredded cheese cheddar
1/4 cup Heavy Cream
3 tbsp cold butter, diced
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Directions:
Mix Almond flour, salt, pepper, and baking powder.

Mash your butter into dry ingredients until it’s crumbly.

Add cream and egg and mix well.

Fold in shredded cheese and form into 6 balls.  You can either place in a muffin tin or on a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Bake for 20 minutes.
